Emotional support for expats
Your support starts here
By reaching out, you are not just seeking support:
you are actively increasing your chances of making your life in a new country a fulfilling and successful experience.
If you’re ready to talk, I’m here to listen.
Let’s connect online
As an expat, you know that living far from home can make it challenging to find the right support. That’s why I offer the flexibility of online coaching sessions, allowing you to connect with me no matter where you are in the world. Whether you’ve recently moved, are living in a remote location, or simply prefer the convenience of your own space, you can still access personalized support tailored to your unique needs.
Online sessions ensure that distance is never a barrier to your well-being. With just a stable internet connection, we can work together to navigate the challenges of expat life, no matter what country you call home. This approach allows you to continue your journey towards well-being without interruption, no matter where life takes you.
Let’s meet in person
My practice is based in Sant Feliu de Guixols (Girona, Spain). I have a dedicated home office that provides a comfortable and private space for our sessions. For privacy reasons, I don’t share my address online, but I’ll provide the details once we’ve connected. The office is easily accessible by car, with ample parking available nearby.
I offer sessions both in a classic office setting as well as outdoor “walk and talk” sessions. Being active and spending time in nature has been scientifically proven to boost well-being, reduce stress, and improve mental clarity. Whether you prefer the structure of an office environment or the freedom of the outdoors, we can tailor our sessions to fit what feels most comfortable and effective for you.
Are you ready
to take the next step?
If you’ve come this far and are still unsure, it’s a sign that reaching out might be the best next step.
Because the only way to truly know if SteadyMind Coaching is the right fit for you is by starting a conversation.
There’s no pressure, no obligation — just a chance to see if we connect and if my approach aligns with what you’re looking for. You’re welcome to ask any questions, share your concerns, and get a feel for how we might work together.
Taking that first step could be the beginning of something truly positive for you. So why not give it a try?
You have nothing to lose, and it might just be exactly what you need.
Frequently asked questions
What are your qualifications?
Do I need to commit to multiple sessions like in therapy?
My service is different from therapy in that it offers practical, low-threshold emotional support without the need for a long-term commitment. While therapy involves diagnosing and treating mental health conditions over a series of sessions, my approach is more focused on helping you navigate everyday challenges and emotions. There is no pressure to commit to multiple sessions and you decide how often you’d like to meet.
Do you have an office?
Do you treat psychiatric conditions like depression?
My coaching is designed for individuals facing the normal emotional ups and downs of life, not for those dealing with serious mental health issues. If you need treatment for a psychiatric condition or clinical depression, I recommend consulting a licensed mental health professional. I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions nor do I prescribe medications.
How is your service different from a life coach?
While both life coaches and I focus on personal development, my service is specifically geared toward emotional support for expats. Life coaches often work on setting and achieving specific goals, such as career advancement or personal growth. In contrast, my approach centers on helping you manage the emotional challenges of living abroad, like stress, loneliness, and cultural adjustment. I offer a more focused, empathetic approach tailored to the unique needs of expats, rather than a broad, goal-oriented strategy.
How is your service different from seeing a psychologist?
My service is different from seeing a psychologist in that I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. I provide low-threshold emotional support for everyday challenges, helping you navigate the ups and downs of expat life. If you’re dealing with serious mental health issues, such as depression or anxiety disorders, a psychologist or psychiatrist would be more appropriate. My role is to offer a supportive space where you can explore your feelings and find practical ways to manage your emotions.
Accessible support,
wherever you are
My practice is based in Sant Feliu de Guixols (Girona Spain) where we can meet in a traditional office setting, or take our session outdoors.
I also offer video call sessions, so you can still receive the support you need without having to travel. This way, distance is never a barrier to getting the help you need.
